lets be friends

These sunny days have me scheming up a way to pull my lathe outside and work in the sun. I hope you’re able to get outside and catch some vitamin D today. Pedestal bowls in ambrosia maple. They are some of my favourites that I’ve made. . To say it’s been an eventful week is an understatement. And amidst all of the craziness I’ve found my wood shop to be a place of reprieve. Where I can forget about everything else and let my mind relax. It’s my yoga. It’s my s Let’s get a little vulnerable. I think it’s necessary (and helpful) on this platform. This season of life for me is a good one. I’ve come into my own in a lot of ways. I’ve found something that gives me so much joy to do, and I feel so fortunate on days like today. I moved my office outside and sat under a fruit tree that is currently blossoming. The honey bees were doing their best work and tending to the blossoms all day. It was quite nice to sit right under it and list Ooooh I am so excited for this! You guys, I absolutely love Warkworth, and I can’t wait to share it’s wonder with all of you. Grab lunch, take walk down Main Street and visit all of the lovely shops. I’ll be in good company with @sw I’ve always been (at least in my adult life) someone who tries to do the whole shop local, support your community, support artisans thing. But since I’ve been creating and selling my work it’s become such a large part of my life. I& We got home from New York this afternoon, and my head is still spinning. What an incredible week.
